Damaris Richerts Trumpeter, Composer, Arranger, Culture Manager and Artist working on freelance basis. She lives in Vienna and likes to combine Old with Contemporary Music. She is founder of le2dam – Duo for Music for Piano and Trumpet with Le Liu (Paino), tena’n’damaris for Old up to New Music with Tena Novosel (Organ/Harpsichord) and the Duo for two Trumpets “Blech-Hoch-Zwei” together with Dominik Fuss and and leader of Ensemble Ultreia. She is a member of Studio Dan and has worked with the Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Platypus and Ensemble schola resupina and others. In 2018 she composed and recorded the Sountrack for the Short Film “Can We Improve How We Live?” of #KlappeAuf. 2018 her Debut CD le2dam #01 was released which was awarded with the Bank Austria Kunstpreis. In 2021 she received the “Startstipendium 2021” from the Federal Ministry of Arts and Culture, Civil Service and Sport (BMKOES).
