As co-founder of Dunstan Music/Dunstan Media House, the music industry is Verena Bößmann’s home. So she didn’t listen to her parents, didn’t learn anything reasonable, but has a lot of fun at work.
In 2011, she founded the company together with Nicolaj Gruzdov while still studying media management. Today, Dunstan Music encompasses various fields of activity: from record label to artist management and music publishing to a digital marketing agency for music & entertainment (Dunstan Media House). Her daily business includes the planning and execution of international cross-media campaigns, music publishing and publishing administration for external publishers as well as artist management. In addition, working with young talent in the industry is close to her heart.
Anna discovered her professional interest in the creative industry through various roles in the marketing and event sector. In 2018, she began her bachelor’s degree program in Music Business at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, which she expects to finish at the end of 2021. Amid her studies, Anna completed a digital advertising internship at Marketing Labs, Universal Music Group’s in-house marketing agency. She then explored music publishing, first as an intern and then as a working student, at BMG Rights Management, supporting the international sync and licensing team. Anna leveraged her academic and internship experiences to work as an artist and producer manager throughout her time at university. Among others, she has now been overseeing the marketing activities for the pop newcomer, Aron Pinter, for two years.
